Meta-brick

A brick is the smallest visible unit of a structure.
It can be foundational –
or barely noticeable.
First – or last.

The inscription disrupts the order:
“first” crosses out “last.”
Beginning and ending exchange places.
What was considered completion becomes a point of departure.

The brick operates in two dimensions – material and semantic.
As an object, it carries weight and support.
As a meta-form, it represents energy, culture, and intention –
forces that hold a system together no less than its physical foundation.

Every structure goes through its cycles.
What once served as a foundation
may become an element.
And vice versa.

Any system follows this logic.

Removal does not necessarily destroy the whole –
but it alters the balance of force.

A brick can remain part of one structure –
and become the beginning of another.
